Remove news/weather from your taskbar

In the newest Windows 10 Update (Update name 21H1) Microsoft added a new button/banner to our taskbars. It takes up some space and will have some impact on one smaller screen. Below we will find a guide to remove it.

1. Right click anywhere on the empty space on the task bar.

2. On the new menu select News and interests and press Turn off in the side menu.

Now we have reclaimed the space again.
